The Parish Council have received the following email. Any queries should be directed to SUEZ.

Dear All,

I am writing to advise that this afternoon’s storm has blown a tree onto the overhead  power lines that cross the haul road into the energy recovery centre.  It’s currently unsafe for traffic to use this road and we have therefore temporarily diverted lorries servicing the energy recovery centre from the A30 directly along the B3279.  Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this causes.

We have contacted Western Power Distribution who will be attending site to assess the damage and we will return to the usual scheduled route as soon as it is safe to do so.

We will update you when the haul road is back in use and if you have any queries in the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Kind regards

Natalie Chard
